Recipe for Stone Soup  

1.     Heat some water in a pot

2.     Add some stones you’ve scrubbed a lot.

3.     Sprinkle, salt, pepper, and herbs.

4.     Let it boil undisturbed.

5.     Drop in carrots, onions, too.

6.     Let the soup heat through and through.

7.     Stir in milk to make it sweet.

8.     Add potatoes for a treat.

9.     Toss in meat cubes, let it stew.

   10.  Let it bubble, let it brew.

   11.  Taste the soup when it’s done.

   12. Share Stone Soup with everyone!
